Smartphone App

The smartphone app consists of 4 main areas:

  • Shifts
  • Jobs
  • Notifications

The shifts screen displays a list of your latest shifts. If enabled, you will also receive these as push notifications.

Shifts can be viewed either in list form, or calendar view.

You can view more information about your shift by tapping on it; either via the list or calendar views.

Within the shift detail screen, you can see what type of shift it is, what time it starts, and who the person in charge is. You can also request to change your shift by tapping on the ‘Req Shift Change’ button.

This screen displays a list of your latest tasks, as specified within your allocated jobs. By tapping on each task, you can see a detailed view of the associated job listing.

The job listing displays:

  • The time and date
  • The name of the job
  • A short description
  • The location on an interactive map (to see a more detailed view of the map, tap on the static version within the job screen)

This screen displays a list of your latest notifications. Notifications are sent when someone requests to change their shift time.

It’s necessary to acknowledge that you’ve seen the notification by tapping on the round question mark button on the right-hand side of the screen. Once pressed, it will change from grey to a blue tick.

Everyone who has acknowledged the notification is logged within the system, and a list of responses can be seen when tapping on the notification.

The Profile screen is where you can add or change all your personal details.
